Creating New Possibilities With Therapeutic Essential Oils

by Joyce Sobotta

Just imagine, what if we were able to create infinite possibilities for ourselves and loved ones using therapeutic essential oils? They are a tool we can use to build and support our immune system and all other systems in the body.

Therapeutic essential oils are living substances that raise the frequency levels of the human body to levels at which disease cannot exist. They are antibacterial and many of them are antiviral, anti parasitic and/or anti-fungal. They stimulate the release of endorphins and have the capacity to clear and balance emotional trauma and negative emotional patterns which may be the roots of discomfort, chronic pain, or illness.

Imagine essential oils being responsible for stimulating and improving our immune system, warding off infection and disease. When our body is overtired or physically exhausted, the likelihood of contracting a virus is greater. A fever is a message to slow down and rest. What if we could boost our respiratory system with essential oils? A few basic oils responsible for helping with cold and flu symptoms are Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Bergamot, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Pine, Ravensara, Rosemary, Tea Tree, or Thyme. Some oils that promote formation of white blood cells to fight infection are Lavender, Eucalyptus and Tea Tree. Essential oils are easily absorbed into our circulatory system through the skin or through inhalation. They bring all kinds of possibilities for alleviating ailments, both physical and psychological. Essential oils transport oxygen and nutrients to the cells through the circulatory system and mobilize the body’s ability to heal. What if we could stimulate low blood pressure or cold hands and feet by using oils such as Ginger, Black Pepper, Cypress, Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, or others? What if high blood pressure could be lowered with Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Marjoram Sweet, and Ylang Ylang?

Essential oils are easily absorbed into our circulatory system through the skin or through inhalation. They bring all kinds of possibilities for alleviating ailments, both physical and psychological.

An effective lymphatic system drains and disposes of toxic waste from body parts. The lymphatic system has no pump. Sluggish lymph results in edema or fluid retention. What if, by using essential oils with a gentle massage, we could increase oxygen and circulation, stimulate the immune system, move the lymph to release congestion, discomfort, or pain? Oils to consider for the lymphatic system are Lemon, Cedarwood, Grapefruit, Orange, Lime, Rosewood, Ravensara, or Tea Tree. Painful joints, sore muscles, headaches, and migraines can relax with the use of essential oils such as Roman Chamomile, Lavender, or Marjoram Sweet. To warm and stimulate painful joints use Basil, Eucalyptus, Ginger, Black Pepper, Juniper, Pine, Peppermint, Thyme, or Rosemary.

To help with digestive conditions such as diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, nausea etc., essential oils proven to be effective are Roman Chamomile, Ginger, Lavender, Black Pepper, and Peppermint. Studies indicate that Peppermint oil had a significant effect in improving symptoms of patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) For a stomach ache, massage your tummy in a clockwise motion to stimulate action in the colon.

Basic essential oils to consider for balance and clarity are Geranium, Lavender, Rosewood, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint, or Lemongrass.

Often when we release emotion and trauma, we will find a physical condition improves. What if we could gradually move to higher vibrations by using therapeutic essential oils? For example, moving from fear, anxiety, or depression, (low vibration) from anger, doubt, and worry, to contentment, optimistic belief, enthusiasm, to trust, then to joy and love (highest vibration). Some essential oils to consider would be Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Sweet Orange, Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, or Rose.

This is only a sample of what is available to learn about essential oils. Choosing or creating a blend with the information given here will be much more effective than using a single species oil. Essential oil blends work synergistically to aid in total well being.

We have an innate ability to create what we want in our life, including our health and wellness. As we continue, to experiment and use therapeutic essential oils, we will see and feel awesome possibilities of healing our physical body, our emotional mind, and our spiritual being. Caring for our bodies is OUR responsibility. Let’s create our own infinite possibilities!
